Rebound Sync is designed to reduce the timing differences that network delay can create when players compete for a loose ball.
A SHARED TIMING REFERENCE
The match server shares when a shot is expected to become reboundable, giving connected players a common timing reference.
SMOOTHER ALIGNMENT
When conditions allow, the game gently adjusts the ball’s flight timing before the rebound window to bring clients closer together.
YOUR PLAY STILL COUNTS
Your positioning, character and input timing still matter. Rebound Sync does not pick a winner or grant possession to a player.
ON BY DEFAULT
Enabled by the server for compatible online matches. It is still being refined: connection quality matters, and short flights, jitter or packet loss can limit how closely clients align.

Pick an account name and password. Verify your email so you can recover access later. The website and launcher use the same login.
DOWNLOAD & LAUNCH
Extract the entire download into a folder on your PC. Open Launch-FreeStyle2.cmd, sign in, and press Start. The launcher connects automatically.
BUILD YOUR TEAM
Create your characters and enter a Competition Channel. Choose Online Standard or Online Tag to face player teams, or Bots Standard and Bots Tag to face AI teams. Create a room and ready up.
FIRST MATCH?
For two friends facing each other, create separate rooms with the same mode and team size. Fill the slots, ready every human player, and have both room leaders start searching.

Choose a writable folder such as C:\Games. Keep the extracted files together and launch through Launch-FreeStyle2.cmd.

Can I use the same account on another PC?
Yes. Sign out of the launcher on your first PC, then sign in on the other PC to load your characters and progress. Only one PC can be signed into the game at a time. If the first PC disconnects, its login expires after 90 seconds. You can stay signed into the website while playing.
How do I recover a forgotten password?
Verify your email from your account page first. Then use “Forgot password?” on the website to request a one-use reset link. Setting a new password signs out your existing sessions.
What happens if I disconnect during a match?
The interrupted match is cancelled. Completed results already saved to your account are retained. Reopen the launcher and sign in to play again.
Can I play against bots?
Yes. Bots Standard and Bots Tag run on our dedicated server and save your progress to your account. Build your team from your saved characters. Opponents are AI copies of player-created characters with all three cards, an active mastery, allocated attributes and skills equipped. Their names start with [AI]. We use different qualifying characters when available and reuse them when the pool is smaller. The original owners do not participate or receive results. These channels need an internet connection and at least one eligible character.
How do game updates work?
The launcher checks for updates and verifies your game files before online play. If files are missing or changed, repair them before starting the game. Close your game windows before installing. Interrupted installations can recover when you reopen the launcher. “Repair files” replaces damaged game files.
Is this the original publisher’s service?
This is an independent, non-profit community server for FreeStyle 2. Game artwork and original game assets belong to their respective owners. Features are still being developed and tested.
